*Prayer For The First Week Of Fall*
Greetings and blessings! Perhaps, we all can agree that the weather season is finally changing and coming drastically. But however, our lives; situations, and circumstances change instantly at times. Nonetheless, I’m excited to once again share an inspired prayer by my favorite and admired godly doctor, Robert Singleton II.
So, this is my prayer to and for you in Jesus Name! Let’s pray … Oh Gracious Heavenly Father, I fervently and humbly pray for all my readers and family, or any person who might be reading this, as we step into this new fall season. God, I pray that fall brings a season of prosperity, peace and blessings. Lord, you promised in Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing. I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” God, I pray that you bring a wonderful change over their heart, over their mind, over their body, over their spirit. Lord God, they’ve been in an unfortunate season of the same old things for way too long. But God, I pray you send a wave of new mercy, of new grace, of new favor into their life. God, I pray against every bad habit, every curse, every way of thinking that is holding them back from receiving the best that you have for them. God brings them new reasons to praise you in this new season. Bring new routines, new people in their life, new attitudes, and new perspectives. God brings new blessings! Lord, I pray that this is the season of answered prayer, the season where they finally see your promises manifested in their lives. This is the season where you show your glory in their lives. This is the season where they release everything they’ve been holding tightly, so they may receive in their hands what you have for them. Your word says in Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Though the seasons change, your truth stays the same.” Lord, you never change; your promises remain. You promise in Jeremiah 29:11, “…that you would give them a hope and a future.” And You promised Jesus in Philippians 4:19, “that you would supply all their needs according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus.” You ultimately promised in Revelation 21: 4, that one day you would wipe every tear from their eyes and there would be no more death, mourning, crying or pain.
However, the season doesn’t necessarily mean the weather. Be confident that whatever season you are presently in or going through; God is in it with you. Who knows, it may be a season of sickness, bereavement, emotionally, mentally, financially, or spiritually; that is your season. Howbeit, seasons change and so will your situation, only when you trust God, don’t give in and don’t give up. Whatever season you are in, rest assured, God is in it with you! “He will never leave nor forsake/forget you.” (Hebrew 13:5) Thank You, Lord! Lord God, we thank you for this new season, all that you have done, are doing and going to do in our lives. I pray this prayer makes a difference in your difficult season. May God’s grace, mercy, blessing and love be with you! In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
