Hosted by the city of Warner Robins and Visit Warner Robins, the competition gives restaurants and eateries an opportunity to create and showcase a burger not on their regular menu and invites diners to crown the “People’s Choice Champion” for the best burger by voting via their cell phones.

The burgers are offered for just $10, with sides and drinks extra. Tipping is encouraged by organizers.

“During Burger Week, it’s our duty to ketchup with friends, relish the moment, and mustard the courage to try every burger in town,” Mayor LaRhonda Patrick is quoted as saying on the burger week website.

“At Slice & Spice, our Masala Lamb Burger gives those who don’t eat beef a different option, while 7 Spices’ Mumbai Street Burger, made with paneer and potatoes, gives vegetarians a chance to join the fun as well.”
