Second Hearing Scheduled for Talbot Board of Education Budget
The Talbot County Board of Education will hold the second public hearing to discuss the FY 27 tentative budget.
The Talbot County Board of Education will hold the second public hearing to discuss the FY 27 tentative budget.
The first public hearing was held on Tuesday, Aug 18 and citizens can catch the second public hearing which is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at Central Elementary-High School (CEHS) located at 945 N. Washington Avenue in Talbotton.
This year’s budget is estimating revenue at $11,213,137.11 and is balanced with the anticipated expenditures.
A copy of the tentative budget is printed on Page 8-A of this week’s issue.
