Railroad Days is a two-day celebration of all things railroadiana. This year’s event is one of, if the largest, shows we’ve ever had.
The event kicks off Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m. with a Railfan Reception at 110 West Main Street. This is a free event. A light meal will be served, compliments of our friends at the Butcher Block Cafe. Our guest speaker will be Bernie Feldman of Headland, Alabama. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the train show will be held at Historic Manchester Mill, 117 Callaway Street, featuring 3+ running train layouts, a kiddie train ride, food truck, and 50+ tables of historical train books, photographs and memorabilia, model trains, toys, and other train-themed apparel and merchandise. Admission is $6 per person; children 12 years and under are free.
