This past Friday, the Berry Patriotic Cinnamon Roll from Sally Sues concessions was named the 2026 Judges’ Choice Sweet.

The treat is described as a Sally Sues’ signature fresh-baked cinnamon roll topped with homemade buttercream frosting, a patriotic blend of fresh strawberries and blueberries, and finished with a sweet berry drizzle.

Also, the Crab Cake Plate from a new vendor at the fair, Quality Food International Seafood Market, is the 2026 Judges’ Choice Savory.

The dish is described as a golden, pan-seared jumbo lump crab cake made with premium crab meat, fresh herbs, and a light blend of seasonings, served atop a savory fusion of Creole jambalaya and traditional Spanish paella rice with a drizzle of Cajun remoulade for the perfect balance of Southern comfort and Mediterranean flavor.
