Houston County
Houston County (2-2) is off this week after back-to-back losses to end their non-region schedule.
The Bears’ offense scored 117 points in the last two weeks, but gave up 134 to Central-Carrollton and Westlake.
They host Tift County on Oct. 2.
Perry
Perry (1-4, 0-1 Region 2-5A) heads back out on the road after a home loss to Ola, 35-19, in their region opener last week.
Their next opponent, Locust Grove, is on a three-game skid where they’ve allowed 49 or more points every game. They also gave up 54 in their Week 1 loss to Griffin. Their one victory was 28-27 against Dutchtown in Week 2.
Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. in McDonough
Warner Robins
Warner Robins (3-2, 1-0 Region 2-5A) got their much-needed bounce back game with a 69-29 victory at Union Grove last week, and they head back up to McDonough this week to take on Eagle’s Landing for the final game of their road trip.
The Golden Eagles are 0-4, have been shut out in two games and were held to six in their opener at Northside. The only time they scored more than that was a 33-26 loss to Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy.
Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Westfield
Westfield (3-3) is on back-to-back bye weeks after a 49-14 thumping at Stratford Academy last week.
They remain winless on the road, and 49 was by far their season high in points allowed. The Hornets play their first district game on Oct. 2 against Tiftarea Academy at home.
