Artisans on the Square proudly presents Celebration of Color – The Art of Jaasiel Barrientos, featuring new and early abstract paintings as well as Impressionistic landscapes.
The exhibit will be on display from July 11th to August 29, 2026. Everyone is invited to the opening reception Saturday, July 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Artisans on the Square, located in downtown Greenville GA, across from the Courthouse.
Jaasiel Barrientos is a fine artist who considers himself a self-taught artist, even though he has taken drawing classes, workshops, and learned from mentors. For more than a decade, he has continually studied, applied, and developed new techniques. The influence of several artists began to shape Jaasiel’s work — most notably Vincent Van Gogh and Jackson Pollock allowing him to express himself through texture, composition, and color — particularly vibrant, rich colors.
The exhibit is free to the public. Gallery hours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm. For more information visit our website: artisansonthesquare.ga
