The event was originally set to take place in Macon but was moved.

Trump visited Perry back in 2021 as part of the “Save America” rally. Ahead of his visit to Middle Georgia, Trump reportedly will drum up Republican support in states with key races such as Florida and Iowa.

Georgia, however, remains a focus as crucial, and heated, gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races have taken up a good bit of the spotlight. To that end, he made an appearance in Dalton on Friday to urge Georgians to vote for Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson and U.S. Senate challenger Mike Collins. At the same time, he took aim at Democratic U.S. Senate incumbent Jon Ossoff and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms.

On Jackson, it’s unknown if he will speak at the event, but according to his staff he is set to make a round of stops today (Oct. 22). First is Bibb. Second is Houston County, 2:30 p.m. at Hummingbird Hill Farms at 2000 Houston Lake Road in Perry, and then it’s on to Lowndes County.

Bottoms, according to her staff, will be in Atlanta today where she will join with “Latino leaders to highlight stakes of the election, emphasize the importance of early voting.”
