CEHS JROTC Annual Grits with Grands a Success

The annual “Grits with Grands” breakfast at Central Elementary-High School successfully brought students and grandparents together for a special morning. The event gave families a chance to connect over a meal and create lasting memories.

The annual “Grits with Grands” breakfast at Central Elementary-High School successfully brought students and grandparents together for a special morning. The event gave families a chance to connect over a meal and create lasting memories. Everything ran smoothly thanks to the excellent work of everyone that participated. Led by the Hawk Battalion Staff, the leaders organized team duties and guest services. We would like to give a special thanks to the 8th-grade Leadership Education Training (LET) 1 cadets that did a great job making everyone feel welcome. At the front office, Carmelo Searcy, Roderric Steed, and Christian Cochran greeted people as they arrived. Additionally, Kimysha Neal took photos to capture these important moments. Thanks to strong teamwork, the cadets ensured a highly successful event for the school community.
