Props wins 2026 Warner Robins Burger Week with its Cherry Bomber
The restaurant also won the inaugural Burger Week competition in 2024. The 2026 contest also included a 1st & 2nd runner-up. Here’s more.

Edging out 26 other entries, the Cherry Bomber from Props Steak and Seafood is the 2026 Warner Robins Burger Week Champion.
The restaurant at 1289 South Houston Lake Road also won the inaugural Burger Week competition in 2024.
“What an absolute honor to bring this title back to Props,” the restaurant posted on its Facebook page. “We are incredibly fortunate to have an executive chef who brings purpose and vision day after day, week after week, and year after year.
“A huge shout out goes to the management team who made it their mission to make sure people knew how to download the passport and how to vote. That is always a major undertaking! We could not have done it without our grill masters who managed to cook burger after burger flawlessly. And, of course, our community. Thank you for participating.”
And yes, Props is adding the Cherry Bomber to its regular menu, according to the restaurant’s Facebook post.

Hosted by the city of Warner Robins and Visit Warner Robins, the competition invited locally-owned restaurants to offer up a burger not on their regular menu.
The competition allows restaurants an opportunity to show off their creativity and culinary skills, while participants join in the fun not only by trying the $10 burgers but also by voting to crown the champion.
Those competing this year included restaurants, bar and grills, bakery and dessert shops, and a pizza place.

This year’s competition also named Island Bakery & Catering at 1806 Russell Parkway, Suite 1000, as 1st runner-up with their Island’s Loco Moco Burger.
“It was truly an honor to serve the community,” Gladys Propes, Island Bakery & Catering co-owner, said in a text. “Congratulations to everyone who participated.
“Couldn’t be here without our supporters, beloved customers, staff and most of all volunteers who helped us out. Thank you to the city of Warner Robins.”
Additionally, Tap and Pour’s Sorry Miss Wilson Smash burger took 2nd runner-up. Tap and Pour at 2611 Moody Road won the contest last year as the “People’s Choice Champion.”
The craft bar and grill sold of their Sorry Miss Wilson Smash on their last day of the competition, which was Saturday because they’re closed on Sunday. The 10-day contest ended Sunday.
“Somewhere north of 1,100 Burger Week burgers later, all we can say is thank you,” Tap and Pour posted Saturday on Facebook. “We love y’all. See you next week.”

The city of Warner Robins announced the winners on its Facebook page Monday afternoon.
In their Facebook post, Props also thanked the community for trying eateries they are loyal to as well as stepping out of their comfort zones to try new places.
“Ultimately, that is the goal behind Burger Week,” the Facebook post reads. “We hope you continue to patronize the places you have found and add a few new names to your list of places to visit.
“This challenge should have opened your eyes to the wealth of local restaurants in our sweet little community. And finally, thank you to the city of Warner Robins government for organizing this event especially for us local restaurants. We may not have the backing behind a chain restaurant but because we have a city who fully supports us, we may actually have the advantage. We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community that truly cares about us.”
